UNSTOPPABLE

A Must Watch

I am very impressed with this movie. Another successful movie directed by Tony Scott and starred by Denzel Washington after Déjà Vu. This movie is about an unmanned train carrying a cargo of toxic chemicals. Pits an engineer and his conductor in a race against time. They're chasing the runaway train in a separate locomotive and need to bring it under control before it derails on a curve which will cause a toxic spill and eventually decimate a town.

I love Denzel Washington after watched Déjà Vu 4 years ago. I know his movie never disappointed me and again, i am right! :)n this movie, Denzel is a veteran railroad engineer who had been being forced to retire as the railway company employed young generation to replace old workers. Another handsome star, Chris Pine is a young train conductor who battle against a restraining order from his wife and kid, and hired to replace the experienced veterans. I just knew this handsome guy, Chris in this movie even though he is already a super star after starring "Star Track". (Sorry :p because i din't watch)
Chris and Denzel
Based on the real-life story, the unmanned train that went down the tracks after a railroad employee failed to set the air brakes while switching tracks. So,Denzel and Chris chase the unmanned train in a different locomotive in order to bring the unmanned train under control before it is too late. Tony Scott, the director has done a good job in this movie. The visual effects is fantastic and goes well with the whole plot. The action is fast-paced, and the tension grabs you from time to time and just doesn't let go. The most exciting part is when Chris jump from the back of a truck and allowing himself to climb aboard and finally regain control of the train, bringing it to a safe stop. NICE!!!
Be careful!!!
Another reason I love this movie as it ends up with happy ending. Hahaha... Denzel, who had been being forced into early retirement with half benefits, gaining a promotion and eventually retiring with full benefits. Christ reunites with his estranged wife and his son.
touching~~
Highly recommended, I rate it 9/10. Unstoppable is definitely an exciting way to waste an hour and a half. ^^
