Stevens Johnson

1 month ago."Dad, what illness that nanny get?" I drove my car fetching my dad on the way back to our home.
"Stevens Johnson..."He replied.
A name of combination of Steven Gerrard and Glen Johnson, that what i think of. "A doctor name?"I asked.
"Disease name."He answered solemnly. This was our conversation along the way we back home.
8 days ago, my parent asked me went back Kota Bharu immediately, they told me that grandmum couldn't live any longer. 11pm, once I reached the airport, my mum directly fetched me to General Hospital. My dad was waiting there that time. Since it already late, I was told to visit my grandmum's ICU room alone.
After informed my grandmum's name, a nurse led me to my grandmum's room. Along the way, I saw many patient lying on the bed suffering their pain. I was wondering what had happened to them. When facing serious illness, human life is very tiny.
When i reached a single ICU room which was at the end of the corridor, through the glass, I saw a bald patient lying on the bed unconsciously with an oxygen mask and plenty of medical equipments were surrounding her. When I look closely, OMG! She was my grandmum, I can't even recognise her. With a blanket covered her body, I can see a lot of ulcer on her shoulder, neck, face and some even with pus. Goshh... A tube came out from her throat, another tube connected to a machine which blood flood in and out, another tube connected to a yellowish liquid package under her bed which i believed was her urine. God! She was just an old lady and what the hell she needed to suffer all of this!?The f*cking disease was torturing her.
My tear started to drop. My heart felt very pain I almost collapsed. I  leant on the window. What i wish was i could help her to suffer all of this. I felt helpless. Just kept on praying. She breathed heavily, so did I. The monitor showed some numbers and i believed that they were all below the par. She started to move her head. I felt that she knew I was there. At that moment, I hope to went inside the room and hold her hand, at least could calm her down. But I didn't. I not sure whether I can go in or not as the door was stuck with a paper written "Pelawat Dilarang Masuk", and no one was around for me to ask. Without any protection or stelirisation, I scared I would bring virus to her. I kept on standing at there staring at her. Tear continued to drop.
The next day, everyone was asked to hospital to meet my grandmum for the very last time. I saw everyone's face was tire and upset. After had a discussion with doctor, dad and uncles decided to take off the oxygen mask. They decided to let her go instead of continued suffering in this world. Everyone cried in that room. One of my cousin wailed and kept shouting :"Nanny....nanny...."The whole atmosphere was full of sadness. Everyone wanted to do something but everyone was helpless. With her reddish eyes, my mum asked me to tell my grandmum to leave us peacefully. I hold my grandmum hand tightly and whispered to her what my mum told me. After that, everyone took turn to feed her some water with a bottle cap. After an hour after took off the oxygen mask, she left us. This was the first time I saw my dad cried, he cried badly. So did my uncles, aunties, cousins.. everyone cried. My heart started to bleed when i saw my grandfather. He cried. I believed he was the one who hurt the most. A partner which spent entire life with him, left him. Without saying anything, I just hugged him quietly.
Me and My Grandmum
Life is short. We must cherish and appreciate what we have right now especially our family and the one that we love. REST IN PEACE, Grandmum, we always love you. You always have us and you are not alone.

Broga Hill Adventure

My handphone rang. I woke up and looked at the clock hanging on the wall. It showed 2:45am.
"Hello",I answered the phone.
"You wake up already?",Long asked.
"I thought cancel, now raining.",I answered while hearing the rain sound heavily outside the window.
"Here is raining doesn't mean that there is raining too.", he insisted.
"Ok, wait me 10 minutes, go to fetch you soon", after hang up the phone, i force myself got down from my lovely bed and prepared to go out.

3:05am. Two of us reach BRJ restaurant. Another 4 person have their foods while waiting for us. I order a piece of Roti Canai and Teh-O-Ais for my "breakfast". 3:30am, 6 person with 2 local cars were heading to our destination - Broga Hill.

4:30am. We reach a rabbit farm which seem like a starting point for the whole trip and we park our car at the road side. The environment is f*cking horrible. It is dark, cold ,wet, and on and off we can hear the sound which i not sure is generated by frog or insect. However, we have to pass-by a rubber estate in order to start our hiking. Due to the darkness of the estate, i feel unsafe and suggest that we wait for another group of people. It seem like we are the 1st group to reach there. Rain become smaller and smaller.
5:00am. A group of Malay's guy arrive. They seem like came before so we decide to follow them. We 6 person, 5 torchlight, 4 bottle of water, 3 pretty girls and 3 handsome guys, 2 digital camera, 1 spirit and 1 team began our journey.Due to raining, the path is wet, slippy and muddy, so we have to be extremely careful.

On Caring

Yesterday morning, when i was in my office rushing my almost-due-date assignment, my colleague came to me and told me that my manager wanted to see me. I was wondered if I had done something wrong , or just wanted to inform me about staff's bonus which was a "hot issue" some weeks ago. I was concerned, confused and a little bit of excited.

I sat infront of my manager, Ms Wong. With a gentle smile, she handed me an envelope with my name written on it. I received it with a great joy."How much do you expect to get?"she asked."1 month" I answered."Then you should open and see."She replied me with her sweet smile again. From her words, i know that it would be more than 1 month. Yet,"I afraid i will feel disappointed, hahaha~~" I answered while staring at my name" ONG SOON CHIN" on the envelope. "You can save this money for your wedding." she suggested. She knew me, I always share my things with her. She is not only a manger, but a mentor or perhaps a friend to me. I nodded.

"Do you feel happy working with us? Ms Lim (our boss) said you look very stress and tire recently. She seldom see u smile and hear your laugh after shift to new office. Do u have any problem?"I sat stunned."We know you are responsible, Ms Lim often see you still working after office hour and even bring file go back home to do. If you have any problem, just tell us, perhaps Ms Lim and I can help you."Ms Wong added.

After working for almost 2 years, I really feel mentally exhausted with my routine life. Every morning wake up, working, trap in traffic jam, dinner, sleeping then same cycle goes for the next day. Even worse when I have to think, care or worry about matter of family, money, love, friend, study, etc... I really hope I can leave everything behind and go far away to travel alone. But I know this is impossible for this mean time, i still have to face reality. Just always asking myself to be strong. ^^

However the important thing is they do see my effort. When i take my thing back home to do, some of my colleague always ask me why u want to take back home to do, you should rest yourself. For me, they sound like:" James, you are stupid, why u take back home to do?" Maybe I am inefficient, but I just don't like job left incomplete and I wish I can finish it as fast as possible. I never asking for more reward but I do appreciate if they can recognise what i have done. Maybe it just a casual talk and mean nothing to them but it really touch my heart. The thoughtfulness and caring of my boss demonstrates that people remember more how much an employer cares than how much the employer pay. I not sure how long i will stay with this firm but I can very sure that SY Lim & Co always the best firm in my life and I have no regret to join this firm.

UNSTOPPABLE

A Must Watch

I am very impressed with this movie. Another successful movie directed by Tony Scott and starred by Denzel Washington after Déjà Vu. This movie is about an unmanned train carrying a cargo of toxic chemicals. Pits an engineer and his conductor in a race against time. They're chasing the runaway train in a separate locomotive and need to bring it under control before it derails on a curve which will cause a toxic spill and eventually decimate a town.

I love Denzel Washington after watched Déjà Vu 4 years ago. I know his movie never disappointed me and again, i am right! :)n this movie, Denzel is a veteran railroad engineer who had been being forced to retire as the railway company employed young generation to replace old workers. Another handsome star, Chris Pine is a young train conductor who battle against a restraining order from his wife and kid, and hired to replace the experienced veterans. I just knew this handsome guy, Chris in this movie even though he is already a super star after starring "Star Track". (Sorry :p because i din't watch)
Chris and Denzel
Based on the real-life story, the unmanned train that went down the tracks after a railroad employee failed to set the air brakes while switching tracks. So,Denzel and Chris chase the unmanned train in a different locomotive in order to bring the unmanned train under control before it is too late. Tony Scott, the director has done a good job in this movie. The visual effects is fantastic and goes well with the whole plot. The action is fast-paced, and the tension grabs you from time to time and just doesn't let go. The most exciting part is when Chris jump from the back of a truck and allowing himself to climb aboard and finally regain control of the train, bringing it to a safe stop. NICE!!!
Be careful!!!
Another reason I love this movie as it ends up with happy ending. Hahaha... Denzel, who had been being forced into early retirement with half benefits, gaining a promotion and eventually retiring with full benefits. Christ reunites with his estranged wife and his son.
touching~~
Highly recommended, I rate it 9/10. Unstoppable is definitely an exciting way to waste an hour and a half. ^^

!st p05+.....

Today, since I have nothing to do in the office, so I make up my mind to create my 1st ever blog. I am not sure whether I will continuous blogging or just create it temporary for fun and to ease my boringness as well. There are some of my frens who are very good in blogging. I like to visit their blog as they always introduce a lot of exotic and delicious foods, interesting places and movies. Even sometimes their daily life can cheer me up too.

Since no new account come in, we are considered “jobless”in our office, our senior manager, Ms Wong asked us to prepare presentation for latest FRS (Financial Reporting Standard). The presentation will be held once a week and the worst part is with the presence of our audit director, Ms Lim. WTH!!!! My last presentation was years ago during my university life and I totally forget how to present. Well, I think I should take it as a new challenge to improve my presentation skills and maybe will indirectly affect my bonus too. Hiak hiak~~ Tsk~~ Tsk~~Tsk~~ James, James, u better prepare and practice well on this weekend. OpsSss, forget to inform that the presentation will be on this coming Monday. F*ck!

Another fantastic news is YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My super idol, JAY CHOU is coming to Malaysia to have a concert on 4th and 5th of March next year at Putra Indoor Stadium, Bukit Jalil!!! We ( I, JQ ,Adelene and some unknowns) this crazy gang will be at there shouting and screaming to give our fully support to you!!! Yahoo!! This is my second time in my life to a concert and both are Jay’s too! Last time I sponsored my ex-gf to the concert but this time I will only buy the ticket for myself. Hahaha.(money not easy to earn, :P)
Don miss it!!!
I was learnt that the platform will be a T-Stage incorporated with 3D technology with approx. 2000 LED lights and lasers. I am wondering who will be the official performing guest of the concert with Jay Chou. I hope that will not be unknown Malaysia’s artist like last time.Hahaha. (Sorry to Daniel Lee’s fans). So anticipating of the coming of my super idol. It already 10 years down the road since he first launched his first album and he has gone through a long road reaching the status on where he is now. Undeniable, he is one talented artist, a superman that who does not need to fly. *solute*
